A Sunday walk in Tuscawilla Park Ocala

Last Sunday we went for a stroll in Tuscawilla Park in Ocala with Albie and Colleen. The park has art scattered throughout and that is part of the attraction just walking around and looking at it. 

A Visit to Kanapaha Botanical Gardens in Gainesville, Fl.

Yesterday we took the 47 mile ride from our home in Ocala up to Gainesville to visit the Kanapaha Botanical Gardens. Located less than 2 miles off of I-75 at Archer Road the Gardens while not at their peak in March were certainly beautiful enough to be worth visiting.

Fall at Cheekwood in Nashville, Tenn.

Cheekwood is the former home of the Maxwell House coffee heirs. It is a gorgeous home but it also has great gardens even in the fall.

Peppa and George Pig: Adventures in Florida

Lookout "Flat Stanley" Peppa and George Pig have been having their share of adventures in Florida. I wanted to be able to keep in touch with my grandson Jack while we were snowbirding in Florida. Jack loves Peppa so I decided to buy a Peppa and a George and take them around with us as we did our adventuring in Central Florida.
