No this is not the place where all the cash is stashed. This is a fort along Route 1 between Rockland and Bar Harbor. 

Scenes from Acadia National Park

We visited Acadia in May and as it happened, the day we visited there was foggy and overcast. It was gorgeous in spite of no blue skies and bright sunshine. 

Michie Tavern Charlottesville, VA.

Last Sunday we went to lunch at Michie Tavern in Charlottesville, they have awesome fried chicken. If you eat there you can take a self-guided tour of the tavern for $3, without the food it is $6. This historic tavern is well worth paying to tour. Here is our visit in photos.
