Church of St Mary and All Saints Chesterfield

The church of St Mary and All Saints in Chesterfield, Derbyshire is the largest church in the county. It is known for its twisted spire.

The reason that the spire is crooked may have to do with the amount of green wood that was used in its construction in addition to the weight of the tiles.

It is quite an impressive sight and certainly makes for an interesting picture.
